What is the full form of TDR?
No:1. The full form of TDR is the Time Domain Reflectometer.
No:2. It is an electronic system that tracks faults in metallic cables such as twisted-pair wire & coaxial cable in the time domain reflectometry process.
TDR Working Principles
No:1. The reflections of electrical pulses along the conductor are studied and measured by TDR.
No:2. It passes down the cable pair and incident signals & listens for the reflections.
No:3. There’ll be no reflection if the cable pair has an invariable impedance, and the incident signals would be received at another end of the cable pair.
No:4. If the cable pair is not of unvarying impedance, then a number of the incident signal would be transferred to the TDR that tracks the fault after analyzing the reflections.

A). TDR : Term Deposit Receipt.
No:1. TDR also stands for Term Deposit Receipt.
