SSC CGL Document Verification:-After clearing all the tiers of selection, the candidates have to appear for the Document Verification round. They must carry the originals and the photocopies of the following documents. Any candidate not bearing any of the required documents will be disqualified immediately. The candidates availing reservations must have the adequate supportive document or they will be considered under the General/ UR (Unreserved) criteria. Following documents are accepted for the identification of the candidates. They can carry the original copy of any one of the following.

Qualifying Marks

SSC CGL Minimum Qualifying Marks

The minimum required marks to pass the Tiers 1, 2, and 3 of SSC CGL are given in the table below. However, minimum qualifying marks are different from cutoff marks. They don’t guarantee a candidate’s eligibility into the next round of selection. He/she will be called for the next round only if they clear the cutoff marks.

The Minimum Qualifying Marks remain the same whereas the cutoff marks differ every year.

Note: For Tiers 2 and 3, the above-mentioned marks must be earned in each paper to be considered pass.

SSC CGL 2022: Points to Remember

No.-1. In the Computer Based Examination conducted in multiple shifts (Tier 1), the normalization of score is followed. The cutoff marks are also determined using the normalized score.

No.-2. There is no provision for the reevaluation or re-checking and no requests regarding the same are entertained.

No.-3. After the exam is conducted, the authorities release the tentative SSC CGL answer key for the Computer Based Examinations. The candidates having objections to the answer keys can submit their online representations and pay the fee of INR 100 per question within the given time limit.

No.-4. The representation must be made only through the link on the official website. No other mode of submission like letter, email, etc. will not be accepted.

No.-1. SSC CGL Admit Card Print Out: Take a print out of the SSC CGL admit card beforehand and not wait for the last day. The admit card must contain a clear photograph of the candidate and signature. The details furnished in the admit card must be correct and should resemble the details of the ID proof. Any dissimilarity may lead to non-appearance in the exam.

No.-2. Coloured Passport sized Photographs :-No.-1. As mentioned in the instructions provided on the official site, 2 coloured photographs must be carried in case of any discrepancy. The photograph is also pasted in the copy of the commission provided to you during the exam.

Some candidates carry the photocopy of the ID proof as well but it is not required by the candidates.

Make sure you do not carry any accessories/prohibited items to the examination hall: Items such as watches, books, pens, paper chits, magazines, electronic gadgets (mobile phones, headphones, Bluetooth devices, pen/buttonhole cameras, scanner, storage devices, calculator,  etc) are STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED in the examination hall.
