SSC CPO 2020 Notification Out:- Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts an open competitive computer-based exam to select candidates for Sub-Inspector (SI) in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs).
Departmental candidates among Constable, Head Constables and Assistant Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police with a minimum three years in service can also apply for the exam.
This year a total of 1564 vacancies have been released under the SSC CPO 2020 recruitment.

SSC CPO 2020 Application Fee

A total of Rs. 100/- is the application fee to be paid by male candidates belonging to General and OBC category for SSC CPO 2020 exam. Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from paying fee.
Applicants can pay the FEE through SBI Challan/SBI Net banking or through credit/debit cards of any bank.
Fees for General and OBC category: Rs 100/-
Fees for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Females – No fees

Eligibility criteria SSC CPO 2020

The criteria that an applicant has to fulfill for the eligibility to appear in the SSC CPO 2020 Exam are given below:
Educational Qualifications (As on 01.01.2021)
A candidate should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
For the placement as Sub Inspector in Delhi Police (only) – Male candidates should hold a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) as on the date set for Physical Endurance and Standard Tests. Otherwise, they will not be permitted to undertake Physical Endurance and Standard Tests.
Age Limit SSC CPO 2020: (As on 01.01.2021)
Minimum Age Limit for an applicant is 20 years
Maximum Age Limit for an applicant is 25 years

Nationality/ Citizenship

A candidate must be either:

a citizen of India, or
a subject of Nepal, or
a subject of Bhutan, or
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories 2 and 3 above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary will be admitted to the examination but the offer of appointment will be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Government of India

SSC CPO Exam Pattern 2020

Questions asked in both the paper-1 and paper-2 of SSC CPO 2020 will be of Objective Multiple Choice Type. Questions asked will be bilingual, i.e. in both Hindi and English. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer marked by a candidate on his/her OMR Answer Sheet. SSC CPO 2020 Exam will be conducted in three phase:

Paper-1
PET, PST and Medical Test.
