SSC Combined Graduate Level Exam 2021 Update

The Staff Selection Commission has released the SSC CGL Tier III exam admit card on the official website on 16th August, 2022. Candidates appearing for Tier III SSC CGL exam on 21st August 2022 can download their SSC CGL Admit Card from the linked page.
The Commission has released the SSC CGL Tier II exam admit card on August 2nd 2022. The exam Tier II SSC CGL took place from 8th August to 10th August 2022.
The commission has released the schedule of SSC CGL Tier-II Dates and SSC CGL Tier III 2021 dates. As per the notification the Tier II and Tier III exam of SSC CGL 2021 is scheduled on 8th August to 10th August and 21st August 2021 respectively. However, the schedule is subject to the prevailing conditions and Government guidelines issued from time to time regarding handling of the Covid-19 pandemic. SSC CGL Selection Process (चयन प्रक्रिया)

इस एसएससी सीजीएल भर्ती 2023 में चयन प्रक्रिया में लिखित परीक्षा और दस्तावेज़ सत्यापन में प्रदर्शन के अनुसार कैंडिडेट का सिलेक्शन होगा, चयन प्रक्रिया की सम्पूर्ण जानकारी के लिए नीचे प्रकाशित ऑफीशियल SSC CGL Vacancy 2023 SSC CGL Job Vacancy 2023 Notification जरूर चेक करें।कंप्यूटर आधारित परीक्षा दो स्तरों में आयोजित की जाएगी अर्थात: टियर- I और टियर- II। टियर- I यानी कंप्यूटर आधारित परीक्षा में प्राप्त अंकों के आधार पर, उम्मीदवारों को श्रेणी-वार, टियर- II परीक्षा में बैठने के लिए शॉर्टलिस्ट किया जाएगा। टियर- II में, सभी उम्मीदवारों को पेपर- I के तीनों खंडों में उपस्थित होना आवश्यक होगा। हालांकि, केवल कनिष्ठ सांख्यिकी अधिकारी और सहायक लेखा परीक्षा अधिकारी / सहायक लेखा अधिकारी के पदों के लिए शॉर्टलिस्ट किए गए उम्मीदवारों को क्रमशः पेपर- II और पेपर- III में उपस्थित होना आवश्यक होगा। टियर- II का पेपर- I, उम्मीदवारों के लिए सभी वर्गों को उत्तीर्ण करना अनिवार्य होगा।

SSC CGL 2023 Application form

Step-1: Access the official website of SSC – www.ssc.nic.in.
Step-2: Click on the link “New User? Register Now”.
Step-3: Fill out the SSC CGL registration form completely and carefully.
Step-4: Login by entering your registration id and password.
Step-5: Fill in all the details asked in the SSC CGL application form.
Step-6: Upload your scanned copies of passport size photo and signature and other important documents (if applicable).
Step-7: Before submitting the application form, review the form carefully.
Step-8: Pay the SSC CGL application fee of INR 100/- through online or offline mode.

Eligibility Criteria for SSC CGL 2023

No.-1.Age Limit: Varies from post to post.
No.-2.For the post of Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer: A candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
Note: Chartered Accountant/ Cost & Management Accountant/ Company Secretary and the candidates with a Masters’ degree in Commerce/ Business Studies/ Business Administration (Finance)/ Business Economics can also apply.
No.-3.For the post of Junior Statistical Officer: A candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University/ Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics in class 12th or a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.
No.-4.For other posts: A candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a recognized University.
Appearing Candidates: Candidates appearing in the final year are also eligible to apply for the exam. However, their degree must have been completed before 1st January 2020.

SSC CGL 2023 Application Fee

No.-1.To complete the registration process, applicants have to pay the application fee.
No.-2.The fee can be paid through Challan generated online and SBI Net banking or through debit/credit card.
No.-3.The general male candidate category has to pay Rs.100/- only.
No.-4.Female candidates and SC/ST/PH/Ex-servicemen are exempted from paying the application fee.
No.-5.The application fee once paid will not be refunded in any case.

Syllabus for Tier I

No.-1.General Intelligence & Reasoning: Number series, non-verbal series, space visualization, spatial orientation, problem-solving, analysis, decision making, etc.
No.-2.General Awareness: Questions relating to Environment, India and its neighboring countries, Indian History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Policy & Scientific Research.
No.-3.Quantitative Aptitude: Simplification, Percentage, Averages, Interest, Ratio & Proportion, Square roots, Profit and Loss, Mixture and Allegation, Time and distance, Time & Work, Triangle, Quadrilaterals, etc.
No.-4.English Comprehension: Topics to test candidates’ ability to understand correct English, his/ her basic comprehension and writing ability, Grammar etc.

Preparation Strategies for SSC CGL Exam

Since the level of the competition increases every year for the SSC CGL 2023 Examination, candidates need to prepare for the exam whole-heartedly. The following preparations tips will help the candidates in qualifying the SSC CGL exam-

No.-1.Make a practical time table that can be followed easily. Don’t go overboard with the goals; divide the preparation time into smaller goals.
No.-2.Go through the syllabus and exam pattern to get an idea of the exam.
No.-3.Collect only a few books and study from them. Avoid collecting lengthy books just for the sake of the exam.
No.-4.Make smaller notes while preparing. These short notes will also be helpful during the revision.
