The candidates who are willing to take up the SSC CGL exam undergo two stages of the selection process ie tier 1 and tier 2. Tier 1 and 2 are objective types of questions.
Tier 1 Examination:
Tier-I will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions.

Tier 2 examination:
No.-1. As per the SSC CGL Exam Pattern 2022, SSC CGL Tier-II Exam Pattern 2022 will include conducting Paper-I, Paper-II, and Paper-III in separate shift(s)/ day(s).
No.-2. Paper-I is compulsory for all the posts.
No.-3. Paper-II will be for only those candidates who apply for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation and who are shortlisted in Tier-I for these Posts.
No.-4. Paper-III will be for only those candidates who are shortlisted in Tier-I for Paper-III i.e. for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer.
