SSC CGL Exam Date 2022: The Staff Selection Commission has announced the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam dates on its official website i.e. www.ssc.nic.in by releasing a notice on 31st October 2022. All those candidates who have been waiting for the SSC CGL Exam Dates 2022 for tier 1 can now check the official exam dates. The SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam 2022 will be conducted from 1st December 2022 to 13th December 2022. SSC conducts the examination every year for the recruitment of various subordinate services. SSC CGL 2022 is the biggest examination that recruits a huge number of graduate candidates in India. The exam is held in 2 stages called Tiers.

SSC CGL 2022 Application Form Release Date

The SSC CGL 2022-23 application form correction facility was available on October 19 & 20 at ssc.nic.in. The Staff Selection Commission closed the SSC CGL application form 2022 online on October 13. SSC released the SSC CGL 2022 application form online on September 17 on the official website.

Candidates who meet the SSC CGL eligibility criteria can fill the SSC CGL application form 2022 by paying a fee of Rs 100 for general category candidates and NIL for reserved category candidates. The candidate will be able to make changes in the SSC CGL 2022 application form twice. For the first time SSC CGL 2022 application correction, candidates have to pay Rs. 200 and Rs. 500 for the second time application correction.

How to apply for SSC CGL 2022 Exam?

SSC CGL 2022 applications were filled online only and no physical forms were accepted by the Commission. Candidates filled out the SSC CGL 2022 online application form on the official website of the Commission. There were two parts to the application- registration and application. The steps to fill out the application form are given below.

Step 1: Visit the official website of SSC – ssc.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on the ‘New User? Register Now ‘link.

Step 3: Fill out the SSC CGL registration form.

Step 4: Log in to the registered account using the registration number (generated at the time of registration) and password (set at the time of registration).

Step 5: Fill in all details asked in the SSC CGL application form.

Step 6: Upload scanned images of photos and signatures and other important documents, if applicable.

Step 7: Review the SSC online form carefully and click on the Final Submit button.

Step 8: Pay the application fee of INR 100 in online or offline mode.

SSC CGL Selection Process 2022

SSC CGL selection process will include the following stages/tiers:

No.-1.Application process: Candidates need to fill out the application form online on the official website of the commission in a specified manner. The application fee is INR 100.
No.-2.Tier 1 application status – The regional websites of SSC will release the application status of the candidates, mentioning the acceptance or rejection of the application. It will also inform about the exam date of the candidate.
No.-3.Tier 1 admit cards: SSC regional websites release the admit for the CGL Tier-I exam four days before the exam day. The candidates need to download their admit cards from these regional SSC websites in a specified manner.
No.-4.Tier 1 exam: Tier-I is a Computer-Based Exam (CBE) that contains objective-type Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) of 200 marks.
No.-5.Tier 1 Answer Key – SSC will release the tentative answer within ten days of the completion of the exam. The Commission will ask the candidates to raise objections against the incorrect questions/answers given in the official answer key.
No.-6.Tier 1 result: The result is declared by SSC on its official website within 45 days of the exam. The result contains the names and/or roll numbers of candidates qualifying for the Tier-II exam.
No.-7.Tier 2 admit card: Eligible candidates need to download their admit cards for the Tier-II exam from the official regional websites. The admit card is typically released about one week before the exam.
No.-8.Tier 2 exam: Tier II is again a CBE that is divided into three papers.
No.-9.SSC CGL result: Final result is announced based on candidates’ performance in tier-I and tier-II exams. All qualifying candidates are then allotted Group-B and C posts in various ministries/departments/organisations of the Government of India.
