SSC CGL Exam is conducted every year by Staff Selection Commission for the recruitment of Grade “B” and “C” category posts in various Government Ministries, Departments and Offices. The SSC CGL exam is held in 2 stages called Tiers. The entire process of registration and communication happens online through the official website of SSC. Candidates must qualify for each stage of the SSC CGL exam to proceed to the next one, before being finally selected. SSC CGL 2022 Application Fee

No.-1. The required application fee is Rs. 100/-

No.-2. Exemption: No fee is required to be paid by female, SC, ST, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen candidates.

No.-3.Applications fee should be paid only through SBI either in the form of challan or through SBI Net Banking or any other bank Credit/Debit Card. Challan form will be generated online.

No.-4. To pay a fee in cash, the candidate should take the printout of challan generated online after the completion of Part-1 registration. Deposit the requisite fee in any branch of SBI and then continue with the Part-2 registration.

No.-5.Those candidates who want to pay online can go directly to part-2 registration after completion of part-1 registration. Candidate must supply registration number and date of birth to continue to Part-2 registration.

SSC CGL 2022 Eligibility Criteria

SSC CGL 2022 Selection Process

SSC CGL 2022 Selection Process comprises multiple stages. The SSC CGL Exam is conducted in two stages: Tier 1 and Tier 2. For a candidate to clear the CGL Exam must clear all the stages one by one.

No.-1.Tier-I: Computer Based Examination

No.-2.Tier-II: Computer Based Examination

No.-1.Tier-II will include conducting of Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III in separate shift(s)/ day(s).

No.-2.Paper-I is compulsory for all the posts whereas Paper-II will be for only those candidates who apply for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation and who are shortlisted in Tier-I for these Posts.

No.-3.Paper-III will be for only those candidates who are shortlisted in Tier-I for Paper-III i.e. for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer.

No.-4.Paper-I will be conducted in two sessions – Session–I & Session II, on the same day. Session-I will include conducting Section-I, Section-II and Module-I of Section-III. Session II will include conducting Module II of Section-III. Therefore, the duration of Session-I will be 2 hours and 15 minutes and the duration of Session-II will be 15 minutes only.

As per the notification released on September 17th for CGL 2022-23, the SSC CGL Registration window for the CGL 2023-22 Exam will close by October 2022. Candidates willing to appear for the exam are required to fill the application form on the SSC official website.

The steps for the SSC CGL 2022-23 Registration is as follows:

Step 1- Go to the official website of SSC

Step 2- Register using your mobile number, email id

Step 3- Login using your Registration ID that will be generated once you initiate your SSC CGL registration using your mail id, phone number

Step 4- Fill all the details that would be asked

Step 5 – Upload the necessary documents like photograph, signature.

Step 6- Review the application form once again to check for any mistakes
