What is the full form of MLA?
No:1. The full form of MLA is Member of Legislative Assembly.
No:2. MLA is a member appointed by the voters of a district to the legislature of the State Indian government and the voters nominate MLA.
No:3. In India, there may be four to nine MLAs in each state for every MP (Member of Parliament) that it has in the Lok Sabha.

Compulsary Requirement for becoming an MLA
There are some basic criteria for being an MLA which are listed below :
No:1. The nominee must be an Indian resident.
No:2. The nominee should be at least twenty-five years old.
No:3. The nominee must be a voter of any constituency.
No:4. The nominee should not be mad.
Duties of MLA
No:1. An MLA serves the people’s complaints and ambitions and brings them with the state government.
No:2. He will use the many legislative instruments for the good of his local constituency people.
No:3. He would lift the concerns of his region in front of the state government.
No:4. He will allow the best use of LAD (Local area development) budget to improve his electorate.
Role of MLA
No:1. Legislator : The first and the foremost role of MLA is legislator which includes understanding the soul of existing laws, arranging new laws, and examining, talking about and afterwards supporting or contradicting the establishment of new laws.
No:2. Representative : As a delegate of their body electorate, a party may voice worries for the benefit of constituents, speak to perspectives, intervene and aid critical thinking.
No:3. Member of an Elected Party Gathering : In this capacity, the individual in question might be associated with arranging and supporting the council and its choices and creating mastery in given branches of knowledge.
