Indian Navy SSR AA Recruitment 2020 (August 2020 Batch): The Indian Navy (Nausena Bharti) has Released Notification for Indian Navy and invites online application form for Unmarried Male candidates for enrollment as Artificer Apprentice and Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR, AA) – August 2020 Batch course commencing from August 2020. Eligible aspirants can apply online for Indian Navy AA SSR Online Form 2020 from 08th November 2019 to 18th November 2019.

Indian Navy Artificer Apprentice/Senior Secondary Recruit Written Exam Details

The written Exam question paper will be bilingual (Hindi and English) and objective type questions.
In the written exam question paper will comprise of 4 sections i.e. English, Science, Maths and General Knowledge.
The standard of the question paper will be that of 10th and 10+2 and the syllabus for the exam is mention on the Indian Navy official site www.joinindianavy.gov.in.
The exam duration of the question paper will be of only one hour.
The applicants are required to pass in all sections and in aggregate.

SSR/AA Physical Fitness Test (PFT) Summary

PFT (Physical Fitness Test) will consist of 1600 meter run to be completed in 7 minutes, 20 squat ups (Uthak Baithak) and 10 Push-ups. Candidates undergoing Physical Fitness Test will do so at their own risk.
Navy AA/SSR Medical Standards

Medical Exam will be conducted by authorized Military Doctors as per medical standard prescribed in current regulations applicable to SSR and AA on entry.
Minimum height 157 CMs, Weight and Chest should be as per ruled and required minimum Chest expansion of 5 CMs.
The applicants must be in good physical and medical health free from any disease/disability, likely to interfere with the efficient performance of duties for Indian Navy SSR and AA Entry 2020.

Selection Process For Indian Navy SSR & AA recruitment

AA- Selection of recruits is based on the all India order of merit on their performance in Computer-based Examination, subject to qualifying Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in Medical Examinations.
SSR-Selection of recruits is based on State wise merit of their performance in Computer-based Examination, subject to qualifying Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in Medical Examinations.

Indian Navy SSR & AA Exam Pattern

One common examination will be conducted for AA and SSR entries.
The question paper will be computer-based with a total of 100 questions, each carrying 01 marks.
Question paper will be bilingual (Hindi & English) and objective type (multiple-choice).
The question paper will comprise of four sections i.e. English, Science, Mathematics and General Knowledge.
The standard of the question paper will be that of 10+2 Syllabus & sample papers for the examination are available on the website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in.
Duration of the examination will be for one hour.
The candidates are required to pass in all sections and in aggregate. The Navy reserves the right to determine the pass marks in each Section and in aggregate.
Penalty for Wrong Answer

Candidates should note that there will be penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the question paper.
There are four alternatives for the answer to every question. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one fourth (0.25) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.

Indian Navy SSR & AA recruitment Salary/Pay Scale

During the initial training period, a stipend of Rs. 14,600/- per month will be admissible.
On successful completion of initial training, they will be placed in Level 3 of the Defence Pay Matrix (₹ 21,700- ₹69,100).
In addition, they will be paid MSP @ ₹ 5200/- per month plus DA (as applicable) plus „X‟ Group pay {only for Artificer Apprentice (AA)} @ Rs. 6200/- per month plus DA (as applicable).

SSR/AA Recruitment 2020 Application Procedure

The applications are to be filled online on the Indian Navy official website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in. The selection procedure is as follows:

The only online application form is accepted and no need to send the hardcopy of the application form to the Indian Navy office.
Call up letters cum admit card for eligible short-listed applicants indicating the date, time and place for the recruitment exam, which is scheduled during August 2020 are required to be downloaded from the Indian Navy official website. Candidates can be allotted any exam center view administrative reasons.
All original documents/certificates, mark sheets and NCC certificate (if held) are to be produced at the time of the written exam, if the details provided in the online application form are not verifying with documents, your candidature will be canceled.
