Different Types of UPS systems are

UPS systems are classified into 2 kinds, which are explained below :

No:1. Online UPS :

a). It is a source of continuous power supply, providing power from its inverter without interruption.
b). Online UPS has two major drawbacks, and the 1st is that it is additionally expensive compared to standby UPS and the 2nd is that it consists of a cooling fan that causes a lot of noise.

No:2. Offline UPS or Standby power supply :

a). The standby power supply is also called as offline UPS .
b). When supply is cut off, flips into the battery in just a few milliseconds.
C). There is no power supply in the PC in that period.
d). Standby Power Supply is primarily used in a computer or office supply store.
