No:2. SQL is a program created and formulated in the Relational Database Management System to handle structured data.
No:3. It was initially named a SEQUEL(Structured English Query Language developed addition) modifying or removing data from inside the database. Eventually, the name changed to SQL.

History of SQL

No:1. SQL developed from the beginning based on Relational Algebra and Tuple Relational Calculus.
No:2. In the initial 1970s, Donald D. Chamberlin and Raymond F. Boyce at IBM developed and produced SQL.
No:3. It was designed to run and retrieve information contained in IBM’s actual quasi-relational database management system.

No:3. Modifying the database table & mark designs.

Benefits of SQL

No:1. There is no necessity to use the standard SQL to write a significant amount of code and that makes it easy to manage data structures.
No:2. SQL databases that are used by ISO & ANSI use guidelines that are well described and long-established. NoSQL databases have no standards.
No:3. SQL can be found in operating systems, laptops, servers and even a few smartphones inside the software.
No:4. It is an interactive domain language which can be used to share or exchange information with the databases, and to address the complex questions in seconds.
No:5. The SQL language helps users create multiple views of the structure of the database as well as the databases for various individuals.

Limitations of SQL

No:1. SQL has a complex interface which makes it difficult for some people to access.
No:2. In SQL, the programmers using SQL do not have full command over the database due to the invisible business rules.
No:3. Many of the databases change from proprietary enhancements to standard SQL to guarantee vendor lock-in.
No:4. The operating costs of some models of SQL are so high that some programmers have trouble accessing it.
