No.-2. In Paper 1, there will be 50 questions for 100 marks, and the time duration will be one hour. In Paper 2, there will be 100 questions for 200 marks, and the exam duration will be 2 hours.

Educational Qualification (शैक्षणिक योग्यता)
No.-1. Aspiring Candidates must have a Master’s Degree or equivalent P.G. Diploma from an institution recognized by U.G.C.
No.-1. इच्छुक उम्मीदवारों के पास मास्टर डिग्री या समकक्ष पीजी होना चाहिए। U.G.C द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त संस्थान से डिप्लोमा।
No.-2. Should possess a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.

No.-3. 50% aggregate marks are required for SC/ ST/ PH/ VH candidates

No.-4. Candidates who have appeared or will be appearing at the qualifying Master’s degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited or candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this test.

No.-5. However, such candidates will be admitted for the SET Examination provisionally. Such candidates must complete their P.G. degree examination within two years from the date of the SET result with the required percentage of marks failing which they shall be treated as disqualified.

No.-1. The candidates who are studying in the first year of a two-year Master’s course or in the first two semesters of a four semesters course of Master’s Degree are not eligible to appear for this test.

No.-1. Candidates can appear for SET in the subject of their Post Graduation only. As per the U.G.C. rules the candidates who have passed M.Sc (by Research) are not eligible to appear for the SET Exam.

MH SET 2023 Exam Pattern (एमएच सेट 2023 परीक्षा पैटर्न)
No.-1. MH SET will be an objective type multiple choice type of test paper consisting of three papers.

No.-1. Paper-I shall be of general nature, intended to assess the teaching/ research aptitude of the candidate. It is primarily designed to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate. Paper, I shall consist of fifty (50) objective type compulsory questions of two marks each.
