A Brief History of ISO
No:1. ISO started as the ISA (International Association of National Standardizing Associations) in the 1920s.
No:2. It was discontinue during the 2nd World War in 1942.
No:3. But, after the battle, the newly created UNSCC (United Nations Standards Coordinating Committee) presented ISA with a plan to set up a new universal body of standards.
No:4. ISO ‘s three official languages are English with spelling in Oxford, French, and Russian
