What is the full form of EOD ?
No:1. EOD stands for End of the Day.
No:2. It points to the end of a trading day in financial markets, the point in time when the trading ceases for the day.
No:3. It is also known as end of business, close of business and close of play.
No:4. In some markets, EOD refers to a point in time prior to the actual end of the trading day or business day.
No:5. These few minutes prior to the actual end of day are needed to complete the routine tasks that are required to smoothly end the trading or business day.
No:6. The EOD timings may vary from country to country such as in the U.S EOD is 11:59 pm and in the U.K it is 5:30 pm.

No:2. The unit’s senior noncommissioned officer may hold a formation at this time.
No:3. During this formation, guidance is given to the enlisted members, the unit commander may publish information and the unit is given the command to fall out, which usually means done for the day.
No:4. However, some members of the unit, especially maintenance crews and those on charge of quarters duty, may continue working.
